THE NEARLY 40 YEARS OF BASE ACCESS FOR CORONADO THUNDERBIRDS HAS BEEN TERMINATED BY THE DoD AS OF 31 OCTOBER 2023. BASE ACCESS IS FORBIDDEN UNLESS YOU ARE A VETERAN OR HAVE AN APPROVED ESCORT AND AN ACCEPTED REASON FOR ACCESS

As of September 30, 2024, Coronado Thunderbird activities are suspended indefinitely. Primary reasons for the suspension are lack of new volunteers for Board positions and the loss of KAFB access for Thunderbird members.
