FEATURED PROGRAM
OCTOBER 10, 2023, PROGRAM – “Mark Medley – The Man Behind the License ‘V'”
From LinkedIn: “As a victim of Identity Theft I have decided to start my own business to help others with the prevention and/or finding resolutions in solving the headaches this crime creates. I had my wallet stolen and the person who stole it used my information when arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle as well as a long list of other crimes. He was arrested and booked into jail using my name. It took me over five years to clear up my situation. In the meantime I have worked with the New Mexico State Legislators, State Attorney Generals Office as well as the City of Albuquerque to improve the laws here in New Mexico. I will never tell anyone that I can fix the problem for them, but I will tell them what I have learned through my own experiences and what resources are now available to them in the State of New Mexico such as the ID Theft Repair kit now available to victims of identity theft. I feel that it is important to educate the general public and people in your organization as to what we have done in New Mexico in passing laws and putting resources together to help victims.”
Board of Directors Meeting – Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Kirtland Lanes Bowling Center Conference Room – All members may attend, but please let us know ahead of time. Spare Grill serving “Taco Tuesday” menu
NOVEMBER 14, 2023, PROGRAM – Jon Gordon, Universal Hydrogen Co-Founder and General Counsel, Head of Partnerships and Government Affairs
From the Albuquerque Journal Business Outlook 11/14/2022 – “NM is ground zero for hydrogen-based aviation – Universal Hydrogen to build drop-in plane-conversion kits and fuel tanks at Sunport”
“An end-to-end solution for hydrogen-powered flight
We are building a flexible, scalable, and capital-light approach to hydrogen logistics by transporting it in modular capsules over the existing freight network from green production sites to airports around the world. At the airport, the modules are loaded directly into the aircraft using existing cargo handling equipment. No new infrastructure is needed. Starting with regional airplanes, we are also developing conversion kits to retrofit the existing fleet with a hydrogen fuel cell powertrain.”
